The P5M4-M+ motherboard is structured on Socket 7 spec, supporting Intel® Pentium MMX up to 233MHz and AMD® K6-2/K6-III up to 500MHz internal frequency. The P5M4-M+ mainboard is equipped with VIA® Apollo MVP4 AGP chipset and integrating AGP 3D Graphic Accelerator, AC97 Audio Controller and MC97 modem upgrade through AMR; all are to provide the most cost effective solution for entry level PC. The P5M4-M+ mainboard is based on VIA® Apollo MVP4 AGPset that consists of the VT82C501 Share Memory Architecture (SMA) north bridge and the VT82C686A Super South bridge. It delivers a truly next-generation feature set which is integrated 3D AGP graphics engine with DVD hardware acceleration, 100MHz CPU FSB and DRAM bus, AC-97 audio and support for SoundBlaster Pro and FM synthesis legacy audio, Super I/O, Hardware Monitoring. It is designed with Micro-ATX form factor (195mm x 245mm). 3x168-pin DIMM Sockets supports up to 768MB SDRAM for intensive computation. 2 x Ultra DMA/66 IDE ports support up to 66MB/Second data transfer rate. In the meantime, Modem Ring-in and Wake Up On Lan have increased the versatility of power on feature. Built with 1 x AMR (Audio Modem Riser Card), 3 PCI slots and 1 ISA slot, P5M4-M+ maximizes I/O expandability.
